Bamboo Research - Where to find the necessary information

Bamboo enthusiasts are very loyal to the floor - or technically, to the grass. Bamboo is a wonderful herb that is as beautiful as it is useful. There are many businesses and resources that you can turn to learn about growing and caring for bamboo. To locate these businesses, we must turn to the annual Bamboo Product Index produced by the American Society of bamboo. The document is available on the website of the American Society of bamboo AmericanBamboo [dot] org.

As you can see there are many different types of businesses dealing with bamboo that can be found at list - everything from garden centers to manufacturers of musical instruments. The index of bamboo products also divides the list of companies in the countries and states, so you can find companies that are near you.

Another excellent resource for finding information about businesses that bamboo is the bambooweb website [dot] info, which was founded by a love of bamboo by Bill Hollenback. Hollenback site of a database has access to resources through a screen search with multiple filters. For example, you can search for companies in a particular country or state, wholesale or retail, and shipping capacity. The site also has an extensive list of newsgroups, websites and forums devoted to the subject of bamboo.

If you are really looking for a source of serious research on bamboo, the website of the American Bamboo Society has a list of links to pdf files archived copies of Bamboo Science and Culture: The Magazine American Society of bamboo. You can access all topics, going all the way back to 1980. An example of the type of material you'll find in this volume is an article entitled "Distribution of starch in the bamboo Bambusa. Not exactly light reading, but a great resource for researchers of bamboo.

Besides the magazine, the American Society of bamboo also produces a magazine called BAMBOO. BAMBOO A subscription is included with a subscription payment to the American Society of bamboo. Sample articles and other items of interest in the magazine are available on the website of the organization.

Other powerful resource made available through the bamboo [dot] org website is a list of books cataloged in the Library of Congress. The list is divided into three groups Ads that are available through three text files that are in the books from the bamboo on the site. It is an excellent resource to find the material he needs for his research on bamboo. The list is still classified by subject to make it easier for you to find books on specific topics.

For an entity so seemingly simple, bamboo can be a complex issue. Even learning how to grow bamboo requires some work casually. Resources mentioned above will help you find the information you need.

Can anyone give me advice on the care of a bamboo plant on luck?

It is better to be in water or soil, how much is needed sunlight, does need trimming and if so, when? ..... etc. Thanks

You can keep it in water or soil. Dracaena (lucky bamboo) tend to grow better in soil, but it does very well on only water. It's just a question of preference. As for light, indirect light is required which means you can set in front of a sunny window with a curtain or simply out of direct light. It is not necessary cut unless it is too high and then you can prune back just above a node. If it stays in the water just make sure that only 2.3 inches deep or could develop fungus or putrefaction.
