Growing A Vegetable Garden

What kind of things to protect you grow a vegetable garden?

tomato, cucumber, zuchinni, summer squash, radishes, pole beans, onions, beetroot, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, corn, beans, spinach, pepper, hot pepper What should I do to protect this garden? I have used on each floor 10/10/1910 / seed set in clay. The seeds are approx 1 "below ground. The plants already begun include peppers and tomatoes. I am interested in insect pests to watch out etc. Can be physically checked or I need chemicals? I said raccoons as corn, watch for ground hogs, cats like squash and zuchinni? Should this fence is 24 'by 12' garden?

If you have "bugs" in the area, such as rabbits and raccoons, then you should put a fence. The Rabbits are the biggest enemy of my garden. It is possible that the insects, but often can be controlled by picking them off with your fingers, squirting them with water or soap insecticide. If they can not be looking at bugs you may have to resort to something like Sevin to keep out insects. Helps prevent diseases of tomato if you use fertilizer, such as black plastic around the base of plants. Tomatoes need water, even too much - not too much nor too little - to prevent blossom end rot. Mainly need water as needed and pull weeds and things should go well.
